Description

These oven-baked pears are the perfect easy dessert! Serve them with some whipped cream or ice cream, and enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 bartlett pears
  • 1 tbsp ghee, melted (sub coconut oil for AIP)
  • Juice of quarter lemon
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey (sub maple syrup)
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and lightly grease a baking dish with coconut oil. Set aside.
  2. Slice the pears in half and use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
  3. Add the pears to the baking dish, skin side down and flesh side up. Top the pears with lemon juice, cinnamon, ginger, honey, and coconut sugar. Rotate the pears, flipping a few times to coat all sides of the pears with the toppings. Place the pears cut side down, and skin side up and transfer to the oven.
  4. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes or until the pears are soft. Serve slightly warm with a side of coconut whipped cream or ice cream if desired.
