- 1 large sweet potato
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (omit for AIP)
- 1 tsp paprika (omit for AIP)
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tsp fresh chives
Optional dip
- 1/4 cup coconut yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp fresh chives
Instructions
- Preheat the grill (or grill pan) on medium heat.
- Wash and scrub the sweet potato well, and slice it into fries about 1/4″ in diameter.
- Add the maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and seasonings to a bowl and combine. Add the sweet potato fries to the bowl and toss to combine until fully coated.
- Brush the fries and the grill surface with avocado oil and place the fries onto the grill. Grill on each side for about 7-8 minutes or until cooked through and crisp.
- Remove from the grill and serve topped with chives with a dip.
