Lemon Pepper Wings

So, What is Lemon Pepper Seasoning?

I’ve never really had a ton of lemon pepper, but man is it good! Lemon pepper is a simple seasoning with salt, pepper, dried lemon zest, onion, and garlic. It tastes amazing on chicken breast, chicken wings, and seafood like shrimp and salmon.

You can easily find this seasoning in the spice aisle, or you can make it at home. It gives so much flavor to these chicken wings that are perfect for snacking on game day! They’re a healthy alternative to delivery chicken wings and are paleo and whole30 friendly.

How to Make Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings

  • Whisk together the melted ghee, lemon juice, honey, garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning. Set aside.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry and add to a large bowl. Toss in arrowroot starch to coat. Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and stir to fully coat.
  • Add the chicken wings to the baking sheet, evenly spacing. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken wings should be crispy and the internal temperature should read 165 F. Serve topped with fresh parsley and lemon wedge with a compliant ranch dip if desired.
