Description
These lemon pepper chicken wings are perfect for gameday snacking! They’re paleo, whole30, and can be modified to be AIP.
Ingredients

- 3 tbsp ghee, melted (sub avocado oil)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp honey (optional, omit for whole30)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 lb chicken wings
- 2 tbsp arrowroot starch
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges to serve
For the AIP lemon seasoning
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Zest of half a lemon
Instructions
- Prehat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the melted ghee, lemon juice, honey, garlic, and lemon pepper seasoning. Set aside.
- Pat the chicken wings dry and add to a large bowl. Toss in arrowroot starch to coat.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken wings and stir to fully coat.
- Add the chicken wings to the baking sheet, evenly spacing. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through. The chicken wings should be crispy and the internal temperature should read 165 F.
- Serve topped with fresh parsley and lemon wedge with a compliant ranch dip if desired.
