Description

This matcha lemonade is a refreshing Starbucks copycat! It’s easy to make and is paleo, AIP, and free of refined sugar.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Juice of one large lemon
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. Add the hot water to a small bowl and sift the matcha powder over the water. Using a bamboo matcha whisk (or a hand frother) whisk the mixture well until a thick paste forms and the matcha disolves. Set aside and allow to cool.
  2. Add the cold water, lemon juice and honey to a pitcher and stir well to combine. Pour in the matcha mixture and stir.
  3. Fill two large glasses about halfway with ice and pour the matcha lemonade over the ice. Serve fresh.
