Nutrient Dense Avocado and Beef Liver Pate


  • 1 lb grass-fed, hormone free beef liver
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1/4 cup of avocado oil
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt


  1. Heat a pan on low heat and add 1 tbsp avocado oil
  2. Add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes
  3. Add the beef liver and top with herbs and salt
  4. Cook for for 5-6 minutes on each side or until no longer pink in the center
  5. Remove from heat and cool
  6. Add to a food processor among with the extra blend
  7. Remove from food processor and lightly mash in the avocado with a fork
  8. Serve with granny smith apples, carrots, and cucumber
