- 1 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup blackberries
- 1 cup grape juice
- 2 tsp black cocoa powder (omit for AIP)
- 1/2 tsp activated charcoal (optional, see notes)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 cup gelatin powder
Instructions
- Using a high-speed blender, blend the berries, grape juice, cocoa, charcoal, and honey until fully combined.
- Pour the liquid into a medium saucepan and sprinkle over the gelatin. Allow it to sit for 1-2 minutes before transferring to the stovetop. Heat on medium heat for 2-3 minutes and whisk until the gelatin is dissolved.
- Carefully pour the mixture into gummy molds of your choice (like this or this) and set in the fridge for 2-3 hours or until fully set.
- Remove from the molds and enjoy! Keep chilled.
Notes
Activated charcoal is used as a natural food coloring in this recipe and though it’s a very small amount, charcoal can bind to minerals and medications. Ask your doctor about consuming it.
