Description

These campfire bananas are a classic summertime snack that you can make on the grill or in the oven! This version is gluten-free, paleo, and can be made AIP.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips (sub homemade carob chips for AIP)
  • 810 mini marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp crushed graham crackers (sub crushed Lovebird cereal for AIP)

Instructions

  1. To make this recipe in the oven, preheat the oven to 400 and set a baking sheet aside. Alternatively, you can make these on the grill by preheating the grill.
  2. Prepare the bananas by making a slit in the unpeeled banana about three-quarters of the way through. Stuff with the chocolate chips and marshmallows and wrap each banana tightly in parchment paper, and then foil.
  3. Transfer the bananas to the oven (or the grill and cover) and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  4. Carefully unwrap the foil and enjoy with a spoon!
