Description
These campfire bananas are a classic summertime snack that you can make on the grill or in the oven! This version is gluten-free, paleo, and can be made AIP.
Ingredients
Scale
- 3 ripe bananas
- 3 tbsp dairy-free chocolate chips (sub homemade carob chips for AIP)
- 8–10 mini marshmallows
- 4 tbsp crushed graham crackers (sub crushed Lovebird cereal for AIP)
Instructions
- To make this recipe in the oven, preheat the oven to 400 and set a baking sheet aside. Alternatively, you can make these on the grill by preheating the grill.
- Prepare the bananas by making a slit in the unpeeled banana about three-quarters of the way through. Stuff with the chocolate chips and marshmallows and wrap each banana tightly in parchment paper, and then foil.
- Transfer the bananas to the oven (or the grill and cover) and cook for 10-12 minutes.
- Carefully unwrap the foil and enjoy with a spoon!
