Description
This chocolate fruit dip is the perfect healthy snack or dessert! It’s sweetened with dates and made without any dairy or avocado.

- 5 Medjool dates, pitted
- 3/4 cup full fat canned coconut milk
- 1/4 cup coconut yogurt
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder (see notes for AIP)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- If the dates are hard, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes to soften. Drain the water and pat dry.
- Add the coconut milk, yogurt, dates, almond butter, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla extra to a blender. Blend for 30 seconds or more, until totally smooth.
- Top with shaved chocolate if desired and serve with fruit like bananas, apples, and berries!
Notes
How to make this recipe AIP
- Omit the almond butter and add more yogurt or use tigernut butter instead.
- Use carob powder instead of cocoa powder
