Pasta Chips (Ary Fryer or Baked)

Ingredients

  • ½ lb pasta I use jovial gluten-free pasta, or you can use cassava pasta for grain-free
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

For the oven

  • Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente and strain.
  • Toss the pasta with olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  • Lay the pasta flat on the baking sheet, making sure that the pasta doesn't overlap.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until crisp. Serve with a marinara sauce for dipping.

For the air fryer

  • Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente and strain.
  • Toss the pasta with olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add the pasta to the air fryer (in a single layer if possible) and cook at 400 F for 10 minutes, shaking halfway through. Cook time may be up to 12-13 minutes depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Serve with a marinara sauce for dipping.
