Why you’ll love this slow cooker turkey breast

  • Fast and easy. The overall hands-on work time of this recipe is super minimal! The real cooking is done by the slow cooker, making it a set-it-and-forget-it meal.
  • Tons of flavor. Herbs, maple, dijon, garlic, and shallots all infuse the perfect rich and comforting flavor.
  • Mostly slow-cooked, but with crispy skin. The downside to the slow cooker is alway the lack of crisp, but with just a few minutes in the oven, this turkey gets nice and crisp.

All the ingredients needs to make slow cooker maple dijon turkey breast on the counter before cooking.
  • Bone in turkey breast. This recipe would also still work with boneless, but bone-in is going to be juicier! You also may need less cook time for boneless.
  • Ghee. Coconut oil or butter will also work.
  • Herbs. I use dried herbs for the herb butter, but fresh herbs are key to add to the slow cooker!
  • Orange, shallots and garlic.
  • Maple syrup and Dijon mustard. You technically can make this recipe without these flavorings, but they’re what add the flavor pop.
