What is the Starbucks Dragon Drink?

Who doesn’t love a fun drink from Starbucks? Especially one that looks as cute and fun as the Dragon Drink! The dragon drink is a seasonal Starbucks drink made with dragon fruit, fruit juice, and coconut milk for a fruit-forward, pink drink that’s perfect for the spring and summer!

This version is a simple homemade version that’s made with minimal ingredients and no added sugar.

The Ingredients in the Starbucks Copycat Dragon Drink

  • Dragon Fruit Powder. This is the key ingredient in this drink. You can buy it online or in some health food stores.
  • Coconut Milk. I like using canned full-fat coconut milk from Native Forest.
  • White Grape Juice and Mango Juice. This lightens the color to more of pink color and adds an extra sweet and fruity flavor.
  • Fresh Dragon Fruit.

How to make the Starbucks Copycat Dragon Drink

  • Combine the dragon fruit powder and coconut milk in a glass and blend with a milk frother.
  • Add the mango and white grape juice and blend until fully incorporated and a light pink color.
  • Serve and enjoy! Add ice to two glasses along with cubed dragon fruit. Pour the drink over and serve with a straw.

Can you add caffeine to this recipe?

You can easily add a green tea like acai green tea to add a little bit of a kick. However, I love it without the caffeine!

Starbucks Pink Drink Vs Dragon Drink

Okay, what’s the difference? They look similar and have some common ingredients, but they’re still quite different.

The dragon drink is made from dragon fruit powder, coconut milk, grape juice, and mango juice and has a very fruit-forward flavor. The pink drink is made with coconut milk, strawberries, and acai green tea. It’s still fruity but has a bit of a tea flavor as well. Either way, both are super cute and yummy!

I also have a Starbucks Pink Drink copycat recipe if you want to try that too!
