Air Fryer Salmon is the perfect easy meal!

If you love salmon, this is the perfect recipe for you! Salmon is a powerhouse nutrient-dense food that’s already fairly simple to prepare in the oven or on the stovetop, but the air fryer makes it even easier.

Cooking salmon in the air fryer requires just a few simple ingredients, and 10 minutes or less, and it comes out perfect every time.

The Ingredients for making Salmon in the Air Fryer

  • Salmon Filets. I like to use sockeye salmon, but any salmon filets will work for this recipe.
  • Coconut Aminos. This is a soy sauce substitute that adds flavor and a touch of sweetness to the recipe. Though it adds a lot of flavor to the recipe, you can leave it out if needed.
  • Avocado Oil.
  • Lemon Juice, Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper. These all add more flavor to the salmon!

How to make Salmon in the Air Fryer

  • Season the salmon. Top the salmon filets with avocado oil, coconut aminos, lemon juice, and seasonings.
  • Cook the salmon. Place the air fryer basket into the air fryer and cook the salmon at 400 F for 8-10 minutes.

Tips & tricks for making salmon in the air fryer

  • The cook time will vary depending on the size of the salmon. If it’s a smaller filet it will take 8-9 minutes to cook your salmon, and if it’s larger it’ll likely take 10 minutes. When in doubt, set your air fryer to 8 minutes, and then add more time if needed!
  • Pat your salmon dry before adding the ingredients on top. This helps to make it crispier and the seasonings to adhere better.
