Q- Where are you located?

A- I live in Dallas, TX with my husband and cat đŸ™‚


Q- Where did you go to school?

A- I got my bachelors degree in Emerging Media and Communication from the University of Texas at Dallas. But as for my nutrition training, I went to the Nutritional Therapy Association. I have a whole blog post on how I liked it, why I did it, and what you can do with the certification here.


Q- Are you taking one on one clients?

A- I am no longer taking one on one nutrition clients. However, I am building a team of qualified practitioners that specialize autoimmunity, gut health, and more. Email me if you want to get on the waiting list, and I’ll match you up with a practitioner when the team is ready!


Q- What doctor do you see? Who do you recommend in the DFW area?

A- I see Dr. Anne Coleman in Richardson TX. I also recommend Stewarding Life Wellness.


Q- What doctor do you recommend in my location?

A- I don’t really have a network of doctors that I recommend across the US or internationally, so I can’t make recommendations aside from the one I have above. I do however have a blog post that has some tips and ideas on how to find one near you!


Q- Are you on thyroid medication?

A- I have a whole blog post on my thoughts, opinions, and personal experience with thyroid medication here.



Q- Can I swap ingredients in your recipes?

A- I list all relevant substitutions in my recipes. Beyond that, I can’t really guarantee that the recipe will work.


Q- Where do I find this specific recipe?

Blogging and photography


Q- What camera do you use?

A- A lot of my blog photos were taken with a Canon T6 and 50 mm lens. I’ve since upgraded to a Mark III with a 100 mm lens.


Q- What do you use to edit your photos?

A- I use lightroom and photoshop. They’re not free, but they’re worth it if you do this for a living.


Q- How do you make money?

A- Good question! I have a whole podcast episode where I break down how I actually make money here.


Q- How do you even get started blogging?!

A- That’s a loaded question, but my best advice is to start slow. Think about who you want to write for, and slowly start to create content that resonates with them. Over time, you’ll find your voice.
