#1 : Our Autoimmune and Healing Journeys
You guys. I’ve been keeping this under wraps for way too long. I am so, so excited to share that Anne Marie Garland of Grass Fed Salsa and I have come together to bring you the Unbound Healing Podcast!
Why did we create this podcast?
Anne and I both blogger, and nutritionists with our own fair share of health struggles from celiac, to hashimoto’s, to leaky gut and more. We know it’s hard. We know it’s lonely. We’ve lived it, and are still on our own healing journeys.
Over the years, I’ve read a lot of books, blogs, and have taken in a lot of content on how to get better. I looked to diets and quick fixes that would supposedly fix me and I was overwhelmed. What I was missing was a holistic, lifestyle approach that was sustainable… something I would stick with and that was fun!
Because we know first hand how it to live with heath challenges like autoimmunity, we created this podcast to share our own personal and professional knowledge on how to live this healing lifestyle in a fun, and sustainable way!
What is it about?
This podcast is all about holistic wellness for living with health challenges.
On this podcast you’ll hear…
- How to be successful with a Paleo/ AIP Diet
- Living with autoimmunity
- Gut healing
- How to make crucial mindset shifts
- How to manage stress

- Our own personal approaches and health experiences
- How to make healthy living with chronic health challenges fun and sustainable!
- And more…!

What a great podcast! Thank you Anne and Michelle for starting this conversation. I just started my own AIP journey to heal my leaky gut a few months ago and can definitely relate to all the emotions of feeling deprived, confused and lonely, but also excited and optimistic, along the way.
I was only diagnosed with leaky gut when I went to see a functional medicine doctor earlier this year because I had a nagging suspicion that my immune system had something to do with what my gynecologist calls ‘unexplained early pregnancy loss’. Now I know that my body’s own immune system is so out of kilter that it actually attacks our little embryos every time I get pregnant.
I’ve likely had leady gut for 33 years since I had meningitis as a toddler. It will probably take me a long time to heal completely, but it is my hope that with God’s guidance and grace, and a lot of patience, we will eventually be able to have the family we’ve always dreamed of 🙂
Thank you so, so much for the kind words, Lisa!! I’m so glad that the podcast is helpful. I know how hard it is to deal with all of these issues. Praying for you on your continued healing journey!! <3 Be sure to join our Facebook group too! 🙂
