You can, though it does stick a lot more than the regular pasta, so be sure to grease the dish very well.

Have you tried freezing this? I would love to have something like this ready to reheat.
The cooked pasta may not freeze very well, but let me know if you try it!
This looks awesome! I will be making it AIP and using grain free pasta. The recipe says to see the notes, but I don’t see a note. Could you help solve the mystery? Thanks for all of your tasty recipes!!!

I’m assuming you need to brown the ground beef and cook it through before adding it to the casserole dish correct? The recipe doesn’t say to cook it but I’m assuming it shouldn’t be raw.
Yes, the 1 lb of ground beef in the recipe should be cooked through before adding!
Do you cook the pasta before putting it in the casserole dish to bake?!
No, add it uncooked and it cooks while baking!
Do you use Gluten Free chicken broth ?
Yes, everything I use is gluten-free 🙂
This was easy to make and yummy. The pickles made the dish!

I made this for supper last night and it was a hit. I used cassava pasta and didn’t have any issues with it sticking but I did grease my pan well. When I have tried boiling cassava pasta I wasn’t thrilled with the result but baking it in the liquid worked really well. I will be making this one again. Thanks for another great recipe! (I used real onion and garlic when browning my ground bee and subbed beef broth for chicken broth.)
