This Potsticker salad is a gluten and soy-free take on the viral trend that’s going to be the ultimate crowd-pleaser! It’s made with gluten-free potstickers, romaine, cabbage, carrots, pickled onions, and an almond ginger dressing.

I tend to be the kind of recipe developer who doesn’t jump on every viral trend as I get burnt out on them pretty quickly. But every once in a while, a trend comes along that’s so good that I have to make my version to share on the blog. This Potsticker salad was so good that I had to share it here!

Why you’ll love this Potsticker salad

  • It tastes like takeout made at home. I know how hard it is to find options like this that are gluten and soy-free from restaurants, but this recipe will truly make you feel like you’re eating takeout.
  • It’s so simple to make. The salad and dressing come together quickly, and the dumplings are cooked frozen in the air fryer!
  • It’s veggie-packed!

The Ingredients

  • Gluten Free Potstickers. I first bought these a couple of months ago, and they’re so delicious! It took some trial and error to figure out how to cook them well, but this recipe includes the easiest method.
  • Romaine Lettuce, Cabbage, Carrots, Cucumber, and Green Onions. All these veggies make the bulk of the salad filling it with nutrients and flavor!
  • Pickled Onions. I love having my pickled onions on the salad as well!
  • Coconut Aminos, Olive Oil, Rice Vinegar, Ginger Paste, Almond Butter, Coconut Sugar, Garlic Powder, Salt, and Pepper. These ingredients make the dressing for the salad.

How to make gluten-free Potsticker salad

  • Step One. Cook the potstickers in the air fryer.
  • Step Two. Add the salad ingredients to a bowl and top with cooked potstickers.
  • Step Three. Make the dressing and pour over salad.
  • Step Four. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

  • Make sure you use parchment in your air fryer. The potstickers are more likely to stick without it.
  • Stick with the air fryer method for the potstickers if you can! If you don’t have an air fryer, you could cook them according to package instructions, but I find that the air fryer method is the best way to get them crispy without any sticking!
  • Mix up the dressing. If you have a dressing that you prefer to make with Asian-inspired salads, feel free to swap it. This salad is pretty flexible to different flavors.
