The ingredients for the sparkling ginger pear mocktail
- Fresh ginger. You’ll need about 1″ of ginger for this recipe. Simply peel it and grate it with a zester or Microplane.
- Pear juice. I found pear juice in the fruit juice section of a store, but if you have a juicer, you can also make it fresh.
- Sparkling water. Use any sparkling water that you prefer!
- Honey. This adds more sweetness to counteract the spice from the ginger.
- Rosemary. This is used as a garnish and for a bit more flavor.
Can you make this mocktail ahead of time?
Since this mocktail is made with sparkling water, it’s definitely best to make it fresh!
Can you use ginger powder instead of fresh ginger?
I highly recommend sticking with fresh ginger. It has a lot more flavor than powdered and gives much more of a punch to the drink.
Can you leave out the rosemary?
Technically, yes. It just adds a bit more flavor a nice garnish.
Can you use a different juice rather than pear juice?
Pear juice plays really nicely with the ginger and honey in this recipe, but if you can’t find any or don’t have a juicer to make it, you can also try other fruit juices like apple or orange. It would change the flavor a lot, but it would still be yummy!

How will the honey dissolve?
I just mix well, it’s a no cook recipe so it doesn’t make a syrup.
