The Ingredients To Make Oven-Roasted Rutabaga
- Rutabagas: The star of the dish!
- Avocado oil: You can also use other oils such as olive oil, if you prefer.
- Apple cider vinegar
- Sprigs of thyme leaves
- Garlic powder, Onion powder, Dried parsley
- Salt & Black Pepper: Omit pepper for AIP.
How To Make Oven-Roasted Rutabaga
- Preheat oven: Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare rutabaga: Add the rutabaga to the baking sheet and top with avocado oil and seasonings. Toss to coat well.
- Roast & serve: Transfer to the preheated oven and roast for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown, tossing once or twice while in the oven to evenly roast. Serve fresh or store for 2-3 days in the fridge.

- 2 tsp onion powder

- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper (omit for AIP)
