Pickle Ground Chicken Burgers
These pickle ground chicken burgers are the ultimate summer burger for pickle lovers! They’re made with ground chicken and diced pickles, for the perfect savory and tart flavor.

Chicken is always such a great go-to protein for me! It’s easy to find, it’s filling, and high in protein. I love using ground chicken for the cheaper cost and how many different ways you can use it. I have always been a fan of chicken burgers, jazzing them up with different flavor combos like spinach avocado chicken burgers and sweet & sour chicken burgers. Now, these pickle ground chicken burgers are the latest chicken burger recipe I am loving!
Pickle chicken burgers are the perfect low-effort summer grill meal! They’re made with simple ingredients and come together in a flash.
Why you’ll love pickle ground chicken burgers
- They’re easy to make. Simply form the burgers, grill, and add toppings!
- A different flavor to try out! Burgers in the summer are such a classic, but I love how these have the pickle flavor for a twist on a classic chicken burger.
Recipe Ingredients
See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Ground Chicken. If you can’t find ground chicken at the butcher counter, you can also use a food processor to grind your own at home. Or, you can just use ground turkey!
- Dill Pickles and Pickle Juice.
- Fresh Dill.
- Coconut Flour. I find that I always need coconut flour as I use previously frozen chicken and it has a lot more moisture! If you use a chicken that’s more dry, you may not need as much coconut flour.
- Salt and Pepper, Dried Parsley, Garlic Powder, and Onion Powder.
- Gluten-Free Buns. I love Wildgrain (code UNBOUNDWELLNESS has discount for limited time).
- Green Leaf Lettuce and Red Onions. I love these for topping the burgers!
- Mayo and Whole Grain Mustard. These are my favorite spreads on these burgers, but you could switch it up if you prefer differently!

Michelle’s Tips & Tricks
- Adjust the coconut flour. I use previously frozen chicken and it has a lot more moisture, so I need the coconut flour! If you use a chicken that’s more dry, you may not need as much coconut flour.
- Adjust the toppings! I love this recipe in a bowl with toppings or on a delicious gluten-free bun with different toppings.
