Panda Express Copycat String Bean Chicken (Gluten-free)
This string beans chicken is an easy homemade copycat of the panda express dish! This version is gluten-free and soy-free.
We love a restaurant copycat over here, and the panda express string beans chicken is no exception! This recipe is made with marinated chicken, green beans, and a stir fry sauce that’s flavorful and rich. Like any fast food, it’s obviously not the best quality and definitely not gluten or soy free. This version is gluten-free, soy-free, and made with high-quality ingredients so you can have this classic at home!
The Ingredients in the String Beans Chicken
- Chicken breast. You’ll need to slice the chicken thinly at a diagonal to get the perfect texture.
- Arrowroot starch. This help to thicken the sauce. You can also use tapioca starch/
- Coconut aminos. This is the soy sauce substitute.
- Rice vinegar. You can also use apple cider vinegar if needed.
- Shaoxing wine. This is a cooking wine you can also use rice wine vinegar in a pinch.
- Green beans. You’ll trim the ends and then cut the green beans into about 1″ pieces.
- Garlic and ginger.
How to make String Bean Chicken
- Step one. Prep the sauce and set it aside.
