These adult Lunchables are the perfect healthy and gluten-free lunch option! Make them ahead of time for an easy lunch on the go.
Remember Lunchables? They were fun, convenient, and the all-around perfect little lunch kit when you were a kid. The good news is that we can take that idea and make it way healthier and grown-up friendly with a few simple ideas!!
Adult Lunchable Food Containers That You Need
- Divided lunch containers. I highly recommend investing in divided lunch containers! Not only are they cute and fun, but they save you tons of space! I used to take multiple containers to work, but with this, all you need is one container. They come in 2 and 3 compartments to help best fit your needs.
How long do these lunches stay fresh?
You’ll have the best results if you make them the night before! Sometimes you can stretch it a bit, but I definitely recommend waiting to fully assemble these until the night before.
Storage Tips & Tricks
- Add lemon or lime juice to any avocado or sliced apples. This helps keep it fresh.
- Wait until the night before or morning of to assemble. You can of course round up the ingredients ahead of time, but you’ll have the best results if you wait to fully assemble in the morning or the night before. Luckily these are all very quick to assemble!
- Keep in an airtight container in the fridge! Or use a lunch box with an ice pack if needed.
