What is a Mango Lassi?

Mango Lassi is a traditional Indian drink made with mango pulp, yogurt or heavy cream, sugar and cinnamon, and is served chilled. It is traditionally drank as a dessert in Indian culture! After I tried a Mango Lassi for the first time in college, I fell head over heels in love with them and they became one of my top go-to refreshers in the summer!

Traditionally, Mango Lassi is made with dairy and refined sugar, but this version is dairy-free, gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and just as delicious!

The Ingredients

Mango

The star of the drink! You can buy pre-cut mango pieces at the store, to make it easier.

Coconut Yogurt & Coconut Milk

This gives the drink its incredible thickness & texture!

Cinnamon

The finishing touch!

What kind of coconut yogurt should you use?

I like the brand coyo for storebought coconut yogurt, but you can also use homemade versions like this one.

What coconut milk should you use?

I love to use native forest simple coconut milk. It’s AIP compliant, it has simple ingredients, and it tastes delicious. However, you can also use other varieties of coconut milk if you have another that you prefer.
