One of my favorite restaurants is Picnik Austin! It’s a bit of a drive for me since I live in Dallas so it’s been too long since I’ve been, but it’s simply the best. It’s a paleo restaurant and they serve almond flour tortilla chips. Their chips are so good, so I decided to make a copycat version at home with the air fryer!

These chips are incredibly crispy and perfect for dipping! You’ll love serving them as a side or appetizer with a dip of your choice.

The Ingredients for Almond Flour Tortilla Chips

  • Siete Almond Flour Tortillas. You can buy these online or find a store locator on their website!
  • Avocado Oil Spray. You can also brush them with avocado oil.
  • Flakey Sea Salt. Seriously, use flakey salt if possible! Regular salt will work, but flakey salt makes these taste like restaurant-style chips.

How to make Almond Flour Tortilla Chips in the Air Fryer

  • Using a pizza cutter (or kitchen scissors) slice the tortillas into 4 pieces each, making large chips.

Tips & Tricks

  • The cook time may vary depending on how full your air fryer is. I recommend keeping it at 6 minutes and then adding more time if needed!
  • Salt generously! If you want that restaurant-style flavor, you need a lot of salt!
  • Add lime if desired. Top the chips with a bit of lime juice before they go into the air fryer if you want lime chips.

Can you use different Siete tortillas for this recipe?

I’ve only tried this recipe with almond flour tortillas specifically, so I can’t confirm whether or not they’d yield the same results with different tortillas.
