The Ingredients for the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
- Shredded Chicken: Using pre-cooked shredded chicken is the best shortcut!
- Bacon.
- Ranch Dressing: You can use a paleo ranch or make a homemade AIP ranch like the one here.
- Tigernut Flour Crust: Or another compliant crust of your choice, like this zucchini pizza crust.
- AIP Mozzarella Cheese: Or another dairy-free cheese of your choice.
How to make AIP Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza
- Add Toppings: With the pizza crust on the baking sheet, spoon the ranch dressing onto the crust. Evenly spread the ranch, avoiding the outer crust area. Layer on the shredded cheese, chicken, bacon and green onion.
- Bake: Transfer to the oven and bake for 3-5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt.
Tips & Tricks
- Make this pizza directly after you make the crust. That way the crust will still be warm, and fresh!
- Use leftovers. Since this recipe has a lot of components, bookmark it and save it for when you have leftover cooked chicken or bacon to cut down on the prep time.
- Keep an eye on the oven. This cheese melts fast, so you’ll want to keep an eye on your oven to make sure it doesn’t melt too quickly.
Can you make this recipe ahead of time? How do you reheat it?
You can! I stored it in the fridge for about 2 days. Personally, I think it tasted good cold if you’re into those cold pizza vibes, but you can also reheat it in the oven for 1-2 minutes if you prefer it warm.
Can you add other toppings to the pizza?
For sure! If you want to stick with the bacon ranch flavor you can also add…
- Chopped parsley
- Chopped red onion
- Diced tomatoes (if tolerated)
If you want an entirely different pizza vibe, you can add a different sauce and toppings as well like nomato sauce, ground beef, etc.
